[edit | edit source]Ruhi Singh was born on 12 October 1995 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. She grew up in the city and initially wanted to become a singer before moving into modeling. She represented India in several global beauty competitions.
Career
[edit | edit source]She placed first runner-up in the 2011 Femina Miss India East pageant. She also competed for India in Miss United Nations 2012 in Miami and Miss Model of the World 2011 in China. She was crowned Miss Universal Peace and Humanity in 2014.
She gained a lot of attention after appearing in the Emmy-nominated documentary "The World Before Her." After seeing her in the documentary, director Madhur Bhandarkar cast her in his 2015 film "Calendar Girls," which was her acting debut.
Later, Ruhi became well-known for her powerful roles in web series like "Chakravyuh" and "Runaway Lugaai." Both series were huge hits, and she was nominated for a Filmfare OTT for her performance in "Runaway Lugaai." In 2025, she appeared in the film Mastiii 4.
